Ayame is introduced as Haruna and Mikoto's former senpai from their days in high school. From the beginning, Yuuichi notices that Ayame is a very attractive woman, and is surprised to find out that she is actually a divorcee. Haruna and Mikoto are also surprised by this, commenting that Ayame had gotten married right after graduating high school.

Having next to no experience when it comes to living on her own, Ayame eventually starts relying on the protagonist to help her with the basics. She also has him show her around town, and with his help has a very easy time getting used to her new home.
