She is the protagonist's junior and a voice actress that is working on an anime adaptation of his light novel work, Vice Versa. Contrasting with the protagonist, she is far more sociable and can easily concoct a fluent lie, something which he attributes to her voice-acting skillset.

At least on the surface, she is very cheerful, upbeat and mixes well with most-everyone. It's implied that there is something more to her nature than what meets the eye, given that she ends up choking the protagonist (as mentioned both by the title and the start of every chapter).
