About

Veil shares a spot of the Four Heavenly Kings with her twin brother Nui. She is an idol like him and they use their concerts to gather people and steal energy from them.

After spending an afternoon with Meguru (not knowing she's Angel Rose), she attends St. Cherine Academy's middle school in her class. She quickly becomes good friends with Meguru, who teaches her many things about society rules and basic knowledge that she seems to lack.


Veil and Nui are originally Matryoshka dolls with souls, who lived with an old woman in Russia. After her death, the villagers tossed them away, considering them cursed. Mary later picks them up and turns them into androids.
Her wish is to become human, so she won't be hated by people again. For that reason, she steals energy from humans and turns it into coins so that Mary can eventually use them to grant her wish.

However, after getting convinced by Meguru that stealing energy from people is bad, that she can become human without stealing energy and after Mary breaks her promise of not interfering with her last concert, she and Nui eventually turn against her.


She dies while fighting Mary, who activates a switch that makes her body explode.


She and Nui aren't truly dead as their souls and doll forms are intact. They help Meguru and Sumire fight Mary's spaceship and send them back to Earth before the spaceship explodes.
It is hinted she and Nui are actually still alive at the very end, even after the explosion, but in their Matryoshka dolls form.
