Our main character is the quiet and sensitive gray wolf Legoshi. Because of his fearsome appearance and odd habits he is widely mistaken to be a scary, bloodthirsty carnivore. Legoshi is wholly aware of this and does everything in his power to minimize himself and downplay his intimidating aspects. The series is largely about him coming to terms with his place in the world as a wolf.
Legoshi develops some complicated feelings for the rabbit Haru.
Legoshi's is actually a quarter, being his grandfather a Komodo Dragon, his grandmother a Wolf, and his mother an hybrid.
This also makes him more aware of being in love with another race.
Legoshi has some of Komodo Dragon's abilities, being one of those immune to Komodo's poison, and possibly regrow body parts. His teeth were confirmed to grow again after get in contact with Komodo Dragon's poison.
