From his earliest childhood, watching his perfect older brother Taishi, he strives to be like him in everything and to become perfect and accurate. At the time of the beginning of the story, he is not popular in school and many classmates are trying to persuade him to commit some inappropriate deeds, arguing that he will prove his coolness.


On the day of the open class day, which was to be in his high school, he answered the invitation of his classmates to drink, for which he then paid. After a while, he is drunk and realizes he is standing in the classroom in front of all his classmates and parents with wet pants. Believing that his reputation is now completely ruined, Yuuto gloomily returns home but a real miracle happens—a mysterious girl calling herself Maki appears before him and says that she can fulfill his secret desire. In exchange for his memories, she hands him the Life reset button and, explaining why she does it, disappears.

The day after, waking up, he first thinks that he dreamed of it, but when he saw this button in his room, he realizes that it was not a dream. First of all, Yuuto changes the worst day of his life, the day of the open class day that was held the day before, and then all the decisions that he thinks were wrong. In addition to everything, he manages to get close to his long-time friend Natsuki, his only love.

One day, on the day of admission to high school, he confesses to Natsuki that he is in love with her, but she rejects it and even the reset button turns out to be useless and Yuuto realizes that she will never go out with him.

It takes several months until his coordination and memory begin to fail him, and Natsuki begins to go out with Shuu. Initially, Yuuto using the reset button was trying to stop them, but as a result of a chain of events, they still remain a couple.
