Himiko Himeno

About

Himiko Himeno is the manager of Ryuhoku's basketball team.

She is very shy, clumsy, and has difficulties being social as she was often teased about her unique name. She admires Yuki Machida, whom she sees as an ideal role model: a strong, confident, and hardworking girl. Thus, she decides to take her courage in both hands and apply as the basketball team's manager.


Himiko is confessed to by Shikanosuke Sakuraba, a member of the cheering team. After struggling a bit, she rejects him, stating that she wants to focus on the basketball club.


Usami confesses to her, in front of the whole school. She rejects him without hesitation, because of her shyness.


An additional chapter devoted to Himiko and Usami was released two years after the end of the publication, during which they start dating.
