A bounty hunter interested only in large bounties, Syon rescues Mao from some trouble he'd gotten himself in and, intrigued, continues to stick by him. Syon is accompanied by a strange two-tailed creature called Gido, and seems to have the power to calm Mao before he can transform into his manbeast form.
