Hoping to forget his feelings for his childhood friend, Sora, Rui gets married but is soon cheated on by his wife, and the two divorce. After asking Sora to move in with him once again, they confess their feelings and begin dating. Rui gets jealous easily when it comes to Sora, and can be very possessive of him.
