He is the incarnation of a white bat, though his soul was trapped in the Bat Axe (the weapon used by Guilt-na-Zan) for a long time. After he is freed by Kyoichi, Bat Axe gets attached to him in hopes of repaying his kindness.

Bat Axe is probably the only one who thinks Vincent is cool.
