Makoto Tachibana

About

Makoto is a boy of high school age with a cannibalism kink, who doesn't wish to harm others or cause them pain. Desperate and frustrated, he enacts a ritual that ends up summoning Archduke J, and readily signs away his life and soul for the chance to enact what he's always craved. After J's side of the contract is fulfilled, Makoto is shocked when J not only doesn't kill him, but brings him to Hell announcing that he would become a demon.

Despite being anxious about adjusting to his new life in Hell, Makoto finds it easier to tolerate than his old life on earth, where he was constantly pressured to "act normal". He is both frustrated with and fascinated by J, who enjoys toying with him while not revealing his true motives. After getting over the initial shock, Makoto proves to be perceptive of Hell's customs, learning fast from all the situations he's thrust into.
