Yuki is one of the descendants of a vampire family; as such, he displays several vampiric abilities and weaknesses, albeit not as pronounced as those of a full-fledged vampire. Working in a blood donation clinic gives him access to a steady supply of blood, though once he tastes Mayuzumi's, he'd rather not have anyone else's.
