Appears in Boushi no Ue no Oka. Thoma's mother used to be a funeral hatter and specialized in making hats for the dead. Since her profession was considered low-class, Thoma was bullied and ostracized, but she was very proud of her work and the comfort it brought to the families of the deceased.
