Ikka initially goes to the same school as Nanao and becomes her friend. Like Yatoh, she has the power to purify spirits, as well as the ability to astral project across great distances.


Ikka later reveals that she is Yatoh's mother. She lives on another continent and looks after her husband, whose soul was taken by Shii. After consuming the god of a mountain, she gained immortality.
