Tomoe, Yukiko and Yuko used to be in same friends group in school. Tomoe is ambitious and doesn't plan to quit work in order to be a housewife. She goes to university and meets up with Yuko occasionally, though the two of them gradually grow apart due to differences in lifestyle.
