Ucchusma "Usu"

About

Ucchusma "Usu" is a myouou (Wisdom King) under the command of the Buddha. He often drops by to supervise Hisa and has known him for 400 years, since Hisa was a human. Using his third eye, Ucchusma can see a person's soul and the trajectory of its reincarnation. While he normally has a serious and distant attitude, he cares about Hisa and Takimura and sometimes offers advice.


After falling in love with Ran, Usu is stripped of his powers and imprisoned; once his sentence is up, he is given a choice between regaining his godhood, or being erased from existence. After serving this trial as well, Usu is stripped of his powers for good, but allowed to remain at Ran's side.
