About

Archduke J is the demon summoned by Makoto at the beginning of the story. Although taken aback at first by Makoto's passion and deviance, J grows interested in him as they spend time together. After his side of the contract is fulfilled, J rips off Makoto's head and takes it with him to Hell, announcing the intent to turn him into a full-fledged demon.

Among the other demons, J is both respected and feared as a powerful presence whose full name cannot be said. He has a playful but sadistic personality and enjoys toying around with Makoto, and alternates between rewarding and punishing him whenever he's being a "good boy" or defying J.
