A highly ranked police investigator and a serial killer, Dan is part of the Investigation Division Unit 1 and the son of a former police superintendent General, Takashi Dan.

He is very tall and broadly built, has blue eyes and medium-length black hair, which he always wears neatly combed. Due to his high position, he always pays attention to his appearance, so he accordingly wears most of the time suits.
