Father Nakano

Appears in Kidnap, Melancholia and Screen. He is Nakano's father, and works for the metropolitan police.

In Kidnap:

He is tasked with tracing the call that Hayakawa's kindappers made to her friend's mother. After a long time, he realizes that his machine had been unplugged, and simply gets up and walks out of the room.

In Melancholia:

After quitting his job, he meets a terminally ill girl who wants to see the end of the world. As she dies before it happens, he promises to "show it to her".

In Screen:

He engages in terrorist acts towards a spaceship that is supposed to carry a number of human passengers into space in search of another habitable planet, following the promise made in Melancholia.
