Appears in Mermaid's Dream: The Ash Princess. At the age of 12, Natsume is shown off as a sideshow attraction by a man who claims that she's eaten mermaid's flesh, in an attempt to trick people to buy it (what he sells is just ordinary fish). Yuta meets Natsume 210 years after eating the mermaid's flesh and notes that her wounds heal just as fast as his, despite her father claiming that she isn't immortal.


Natsume was actually brought back to life using a mermaid's liver, by a priest who took pity on her grieving father. Because of this, she craves liver to the point where she will rip it out of creatures while they're still alive.
