Nishi has an idealistic personality, with a childish streak that he never loses even as the worries of life are heaped upon him. On his way home, pretending that he's navigating shark-infested waters leads to a meeting with Itou. Nishi is surprisingly straightforward about his feelings, but tends to worry about the future and lagging behind others.
