Tatsuo is a 36-year-old man and Kozue's boyfriend. He is passionate about motorcycles and plans to buy a motorcycle to propose to Kozue on, as well as open his own coffee shop. However, Kozue is secretly disappointed in him and sees him as immature and lacking in ambition. When the outbreak starts, Tatsuo vows to save Kozue.
