Tomoe Gozen is a witch invited to the Walpurgis. Titled the "Mighty Witch," her desire is Justice. She was an onna-musha from the late Heian period of Japanese history. She served Minamoto no Yoshinaka during the Genpei War and was a part of the conflict that led to the first shogunate.

A serious, brave and combative woman due to how she was raised, Tomoe lives a similar life to that of a samurai, following a path of strict discipline and showing herself willing to fight to the bitter end. Despite this, Tomoe does have a kinder and more timid side, blushing after being flattered by her male companions.

She has a strong sense of justice, showing herself willing to protect the innocent as well as giving advice to Jeanne, even knowing there was a chance she would be her rival on her next fight.
