Zero was a mysterious character in Shotgun Boy. He carried notable attributes in relation to Sweet Home monsters and evolved humans, such as a broken voice and deep wording, contrary to the variants.

It was believed that he is the index case for all future monsters; however, it is revealed that 01, his murderer, became the cost for the Monster Apocalypse.
