A high-class geisha who lost her parents at an early age and was taken to Yoshiwara. She was very beautiful and very popular among men, thus all the other women were jealous of her.
Her wish was to live freely but a mysterious illness stopped her plans.
Her life ended by drowning in a river.


As she was slowly dying, she accepted Denkichi's offer to run away together.

She promised to Sukeroku to die with him but it is later revealed she didn't die next to his side.Sukeroku's spirit apologized to her for being a naive young man.
