He was abandoned and left to die by his parents for being too skinny and weak in a world where they need to be delicious for an alien species called Heavenly Beings.

He later fell in a cenote and was rescued by a jellyfish like being.

The jellyfish like being was revealed (ch.32) as the previous protagonist Natsune & Yamabiki who stayed alive a 100 years and gave their abilities to regenerate to Fumimaro and two others.
