Yuuta runs the Ukai Detective Agency, dedicated to various odd jobs. He went to the same high school as Naozumi. Having been kidnapped for ransom as a child, he is still afraid of the dark and chose to become a detective in order to track down one of the kidnappers. He calls Naozumi "Chikamichi".
