Mizuki is an overachiever who initially dislikes how noisy Renge, Akebi and Sumire are, but secretly envies their bond. Her parents are always busy with work and arguing, and she is stressed out with school. After Sumire intervenes, Mizuki begins hanging out with their group.


After graduation, her mother gets a divorce and the two move to Tokyo so that Mizuki can attend university.


At 24, Mizuki is working as a paralegal and studying to become a divorce lawyer.
