Kazushige Tsuda

Kazushige is a vampire who saves Akihiko's life on a whim. He doesn't consider the gesture too troublesome, and is annoyed at Akihiko's insistence to thank him for it. Although he has tried to take his own life many times, something always happens to prevent it.

As uncaring and apathetic as he tries to appear, Kazushige suffers from loneliness and from having had to witness all the people he cared about, dying before his eyes. He was born at the end of the Edo period and was turned fifty years prior by Masakado; now, he works night shifts at a café in order to be able to pay for the blood packs he consumes, and in an attempt to hold on to his humanity.
