Tadayuki is a doctor who suddenly undergoes a transformation into a vampire, leaving him unable to die and craving blood. After he bites his friend, Takeru, Tadayuki goes to work at a blood donation center, but Takeru tracks him down and pushes him to accept help. He is unable to stomach or taste human food or be out in the sun for long stretches of time, ages much slower than humans, and can heal very fast. Once they move in together, Tadayuki begins cooking for Takeru in exchange for the blood he provides.
