Zane is transferred from the Emergency Operations Unit to Nocturnal Dogs, and assigned as Lil's partner. He survived the Rufsol virus and spent a year in rehab for it. He views the Nocturnal Dogs with contempt and is predisposed to killing carriers of the virus, rather than trying to cure them.
