Kayoi plays guitar, writes songs, and serves as the band's manager. He is the only one with a girlfriend, whom he is faithful to. He thinks very highly of Yoru's singing and believes that Yoru and Asaichi making their relationship public would be good promotion for the band.

In Yoru to Asa no Uta Ec, Kayoi is concerned about the future of the band and considers breaking up with his girlfriend, who also raised concerns about his lifestyle.
