Junichi is part of the crew sent to examine planet RED, which resembles Earth. Later, he is sent to a "colony", an area housing recovered specimens. After being attacked by an alien organism called "argo", Junichi is recognized as a female of its species and subjected to experiments by Sakurai, eventually realizing that the argovirus he had been infected with renders him immortal.
