Hitoshi Hayakawa

Hitoshi is a loner without much interest in things that don't relate to Akio. He used to be bullied and needed Shigeo to protect him, but became popular after entering high school. Coming from a tense family, he often agrees with his parents in order to avoid arguments. He used to watch Akio and Oguri passing by his house on their way to school; after they become classmates, Hitoshi realizes that he likes Akio and begins confessing to him, with little success. He eventually leaves for Tokyo to pursue acting.
