Eva

About

Eva is a posthumous character in the Devil May Cry franchise. She was the human wife of Sparda, mother to the hybrid twins Dante and Vergil.


At the end of the first volume of the light novel (Second part, phrase four), Dante recognizes her as his mother after witnessing the death of Nell Goldstein during the fire at her armory. Here, the protagonist of the story undergoes a catharsis, accepting his past, his old name, and his hybrid nature as half demon and half human. Here, Dante mentions that he had been hiding all this time under the alias Tony Redgrave.
