Anemone is partners with Gaku Hachiue, who is the first adapter to be known to have kept the sentience of the creature they merged with—this being Anemone. Anemone relies on Hachiue as her legs.


She attempted to give herself legs by setting off another explosion that would evolve her further.

She was created by a scientist in a lab in the Galapagos Islands. She is the successful version of another sentient plant, Lobelia, whom with she is enemies.
