Shuto

Father of Maria and ex-husband of Misaki. Shuto is a highly intelligent but overly rational and prideful man who runs a general and foodstuff store. Despite his sharp mind, he struggles with relationships and humility, leading to a strained connection with the villagers and his wife, Misaki. Though he taught Ceres essential skills like reading and math, his lack of attachment to family life has earned him a reputation for neglect.



Ceres gifts Shuto a new wife named Charlotte, who is the daughter of a former noble. She's smart, knows self-defense, and is a villainous young lady so Shuto can't win with knowledge or violence. Ceres hopes that she thoroughly breaks Shuto's pride and makes him humbler and more willing to compromise.
