A pervert obsessed with Midori. Shirata tirelessly tries to convince Midori to forget her boyfriend who didn't return from the war, and goes crazy after Fuusuke stops him from continuing to bother Midori. Later during a new approach, Shirata tries to kill Midori, but is stopped by Fuusuke again.
