Dam Soo-Cheon is a man driven by his convictions and strives to create a place for himself in Murim by fighting renowned warriors in order to make a name for himself. Originally as a child he was a timid and weak boy who took solace under the protection of his mother as a result of the bullying from his older brothers. However, following her death he came to the conclusion that his survival depended on his strength and ruthless beat his brothers. Unfortunately this didn't fill the gap in his heart left by his mother's tragic demise until he met with Hye-Ryung who reminded him of her and found a new purpose in life to become the strength man in Murim.
