Older sibling of Hard Wolfstar. Though called "older brother" by Hard, Dean has shapeshifting abilities, and always chooses to look like a woman, stating "This is the real me."
Dean and Hard used to be a sibling duo of musicians, before they both became explorers. Dean is introduced in a chapter helping Bolt rescue Hard.
