Kouno comes off as rather flighty and not taking anything seriously, but deep down he's got a lot built up inside, especially when it comes to his friend Natsu. The list of flaws are endless: over emotional, jealous, and always trying to suppress his feelings. Yet, despite all those flaws, he's got a big heart, but is scared to let it shine through.
