Kanmu is introduced first as Mao's bodyguard. His main goal is protecting Mao from the Arm of Kannon and rescuing humanity from the Arm.

He has spiky silver hair and wields a long, unusual sword. He is arrogant and a playboy, but usual comes off as rude and is unsuccessful with women spite his good looks.
