Synopsis

Evony Vonieck's days are numbered. She has been sentenced to death for murdering her father and fiancé. She's saved when a guardian arranges for her release, sending her to the Duke's castle. What she expects is the job of a housemaid, or worse, being chained in an underground dungeon, and starving to death. But Grand Duke Schneider's behavior towards her isn't cruel.
