Gabriele Roberto is an Italian composer living and working in Asia and in Europe. He is the first Italian composer who has been awarded with the Japan Academy Prize, the most prestigious prize in Japan for a film music composer, for Memories of Matsuko, a film directed by Tetsuya Nakashima. He also scored part of the soundtrack for the TV anime Devil May Cry.
