A pop music duo from Fukuoka, Japan. They were formed in 1979, and have sold over 30 million albums and singles. チャゲ&飛鳥 is the writing way Chage and Aska used between 1979 and 1988. The name changed later again a few times: * チャゲ&飛鳥 - 1979-1988 * CHAGE&ASUKA - 1989-1990 * CHAGE&ASKA - 1990-2000 * CHAGE and ASKA - 2001-2009 In 2009, the band has announced indefinite hiatus and in 2019 Aska announced withdrawal from the duo. The members are Chage and Aska. Their real names are Shibata Hideyuki (柴田秀之) and Miyazaki Shigeaki (宮﨑重明). (Source: AniDB)
