Birthplace: Kyoto City, Japan Blood type: O Height: 170 cm Retort is a Japanese Let's Player who has been active since 2008. His first video was of him playing Pokémon Snap, which he uploaded to Niconico Douga on December 2. He started uploading to his YouTube channel in June of 2014, with a mix of his normal Let's Plays and videos on sweets. He used both sites until he fully stopped posting to Niconico Douga in 2018. He rarely uploads videos to his Niconico Channel, but still uses it for monthly livestreams. He is known for having a nasal voice and will sometimes use the name "hanagoe" (literally "nasal voice") or a play on it when playing games with friends. Retort is part of the Let's Player group Nihon TOP4 (日本トップ４/日本TOP4/にほんとっぷふぉー; usually just "TOP4") with Kiyo, Ushizawa and Gatchman. He also hosts the radio show Mattaku Mi ni Naranai Radio (全く身にならないラジオ, literally "Completely Useless Radio"; usually shortened to 全身ラジオ, ZenShin Radio) with Kiyo.
